The quality of Ritz crackers is quite dismal ; they were excellent before Mondelez owned the brand.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The crackers are thinner and lower quality than before.
  • - There are clumps of a light brown paste in the crackers.

It had been a number of years between my most recent purchase of Ritz crackers and the preceeding purchase. What a disappointment it was to find that the current version is a thin, insubstantial, low quality piece of garbage.

There were clumps of a light brown pasty substance distributed throughout every sleeve of these disgusting crumbly wafers that prompted me to toss them into the trash.

The corporate %#&holes responsible for this decline in quality (but not price of course) should spend years in prison to reflect on the folly of their greed. I hope that our nation of pathetic sheep will soon awaken and rise against the shameless greedy ones that are so ubiquitous today.

Cons:
  • Are not even close to what they once were

User's recommendation: Stop buying this crap ; you are enabling and encouraging the greedy ones!

Ritz crackers are now the worst crackers on the market because they absolutely crumble every single time one tries to add a spread to them and they have lost their once buttery crispy texture and taste!

We was told by a stalker for Walmart that y'all was not gonna make the extra toasted again. And we really like them.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Ritz crackers, we were told at Walmart by a guy who was stocking them that they were not going to carry the extra toasted. Are y'all bringing them back again? At Oxford Walmart, Alabama.

Pros:
  • Love all

Preferred solution: Just bring back the extra toasted ritz.

Unhappy with product

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'm very unhappy with the individually wrapped Ritz cheese crackers. The amount of cheese is so minute that it hardly has any flavor of cheese whatsoever.

This is nothing more than 2 crackers put together.

I'm very unhappy with this product. I'm so disappointed with Ritz since I have bought their products all of my life and the quality of this product is very disappointing.

User's recommendation: Yes, just be aware that there is basically no cheese on these crackers.

Pre-cracked Crackers

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ritz Crackers - Pre-cracked Crackers

I have been eating Nabisco brand cookies and crackers (now Mondelez International) for as long as I can remember. I will be 75 this year, and I am done with this brand.

Today it was the roasted vegetable crackers that were the final cracker. Only 13 of the 31 crackers in the tube came out whole as I picked them up out of a completely opened sleeve. For years, I have had a group of crackers from every tube that are pre-cracked, but today was the worst percentage. I also get pre-cracked crackers in all the other Mondelez products, including the Graham crackers.

This problem is not new; it is many years old, and they haven't fixed the problem. Once upon a time, (before Mondelez) I would toss a box of Ritz in the back of my van, bouncing around with tools and test equipment.

The crackers might be there for months waiting for me to eat them. I don't recall ever having broken crackers.

Pros:
  • Taste similar to old style
Cons:
  • Always pre cracked in the package

Preferred solution: Fix their products

User's recommendation: DO NOT PURCHASE

I can relate to exactly what you are saying. I am ironically 75 as well, and over the years I grew up loving these crackers.

Now they have become total garbage!

Greed!! Feed the public anything to make a buck!

-O is what I give these now horrible crackers. They don't even taste like they used to I will not buy again.

Try changing the ritz crackers back to the way they used to taste otherwise no one will buy them. I know I won't.

The cracker was light in color and looked like it was half baked. The taste, well the taste is hard to explain. It tasted like a mouthful of butter with crumbs.

It's horrible. I will buy another brand of crackers from now on.

User's recommendation: Don't waste your money on Ritz crackers. They change is not good.

Ritz Crackers - Ritz Toasted Chips (roasted garlic). The entire bag is broken. No whiole...

I have purchased these chips 3 times in 3 different stores (walmart, shoprite & Aldi) with the same results. The entire container had only broken pieces.

I could not use them with my dip. Will not purchase again unless a different type of packaging or being able to see inside bag.

User's recommendation: If enjoy eating small pieces of chips…the taste good

I have had the same experience with the veggie chip crackers. The vast majority are broken, and I've bought from three different grocery chains.

What do the factory handlers/shippers do to cause this?

Or are they broken even before they are bagged? I like the flavor, but dealing with bits and crumbs is very annoying.

The whole box looked like it wasn't baked long enough, they fell apart and was lighter in color than they always were. Think I'll be looking for a different brand.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

They give a number to call and there's no way you can talk or leave a message. Terrible product never will buy again, treeble customer service no connection with customers.

For a company that has been around as long as I can remember, management isn't what it used to be but most companies have bad management and workers don't care and do poor work. Some where I read these are made in a foreign country a reason not to buy.

User's recommendation: But a different brand.

Ritz Cracker poor Quality

Ritz Crackers are not baked as well as they use to be , and now they crumble before they can be removed from the package. The Buttery flavor is missing, All of this contributes to Poor quality and poor taste in the product.

User's recommendation: Another type of cracker may need to replace the Ritz since the Quality as gone down.

Cons:
  • Come in all broken and crushed see pictures not the first time

Preferred solution: Full refund
