Ritz Crackers - Disgusting Ritz sludge!
I am absolutely disgusted. My son opened a package of Nabisco Ritz crackers Fresh Stacks and he was almost at the bottom when he said, "What's this".
There is a gross sludge that looks like peanut butter inside the whole package of the crackers. I checked the rest of the sealed packages and they all have it to differing degrees. If I had a child with a peanut allergy I probably would have freaked (although it does not smell like peanut butter).
I called Nabisco and they told me- which sounded like a person reciting, "This can sometimes happen when salt oil and cracker crumbs get caught up during the production process and get into the packaging." What else gets into the packaging!? What about quality control!!
These are produced now in Mexico.
I think it is about time they bring production back to the USA- their standards are obviously NOT the same! Nabisco just lost a customer!
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

I just noticed this too...really bad. If these are in fact pkgd in Mexico, will not buy anymore. Can't trust food from there.
I wonโt buy them anymore! I will buy Townhouse from now on!
I had packages with what looked like peanut butter too, and I also was worried about people with allergies. I donโt know if this will help anyone or not, but I tasted it, and it is not peanut butter, it just tastes like salt and oil mixed together. I hope they get better about communicating and reassuring their customers, because this could be bad for them if they donโt.
My son does have a peanut allergy and i too bought a box nearly every cracker had this sludge that looked like peanut butter on them. I am sending it for testing of its composition.
One cracker with peanut butter on it can kill someone with peanut allergies. It only takes one. What if any child with a peanut allergy ate these crackers hospitalization and death can occur.
No where on the box does it say possible peanut contamination. All I can say is i hope the tests show that its not peanutbutter for the companies sake.
I discovered this stuff at the bottom of a pack and it was delicious. I felt lucky. Lol
produced in Mexico! Oh my God! Another reason to build the wall.
ooo
Do you always get this angry over...crackers.
I'm sure Nabisco will never rest at night again now that they've lost you as a customer.
This just happened to me and my boyfriend!!
Salt oil and cracker crumbs in the packaging? Omg...how could that happen.
