When they bake thinner crackers(33 and not 31) per tube there is about a 10% breakage in the tube.
- - They want Ritz crackers heavier to stop breakage.
- - They eat 8 crackers a day and discard over 10% due to breakage.
- - They buy 18-stack boxes monthly.
go back and make heaver crackers. It is a waste of money to buy their crackers (ritz) I eat about 8 cracker a day and have to toss out more than 10% of them because they are broken Stop doing it.
I buy the 18 stacks box about once a month.
Hope you can do something about it. Thank you for your time.
User's recommendation: stop doing it
Absolute *** quality!!! equal to baby food
- - Biscuits arrive broken in the packet.
- - They break into pieces when dipped.
- - It's ridiculous and seems aimed at toddlers.
I dont know what theyve done, but these biscuits are absolute *** now.
Most are already broken in the packet -see photo provided.
Cannot even pick up a bit of dip without it breaking into 3-4 pieces!!
Its just ridiculous
I would recommend this for toddlers as thats the equivalent audience, they must be targeting what a joke!!!

Verified Reviewer |Bought the family size boxe of ritz crackers at Sams an 2 pks have had peanut butter on them in spits.
- - Peanut butter on crackers halfway through packages.
- - Could be dangerous for peanut allergies.
- - Throwing away affected crackers is pricey.
About 1/2 down the packages theres been peanut butter on some of the crackers, this could be very dangerous for anyone with a peanut allergy which praise God we dont nor do our GRANDS. But having to throw them away is pricey.
I dont understand how this happens do u use the same machine for both.
I posted it on FB only to find it had happened to another person. Not safe at all.
- You loose money when u have to throw them out
- An someone with a peanut allergy could become very ill if we dont know its on there
Preferred solution: Full refund

Poor quality of ritz cracker
- - Crackers are no longer solid and break up easily when touched.
- - Long-time customer wants to switch to another cracker.
Crackers are no longer solid. They break up by just touching them makint it very hard to find a solid cracker in the bunch.
I am looking to find anothewr cracker. Have been a long time customer and no longer like this brand.
User's recommendation: Dont buy ritz crackers
Product has lost its quality
- - Ritz crackers come pre-crushed, limiting their uses.
- - Not good for dipping or spreading toppings.
- - Other brands offer a quality product.
Well, The only thing your new Ritz crackers are good for is SpaghettiOs surprise as in the movie Overboard. The difference is he had to crush the crackers.
All we need to do is open the package. They come pre crushed. Using them for a dip? What a joke.
you have to get a whole cracker from the pack to try to spread something on it.
I will never buy them again. Their are other brands that offer a quality product.
User's recommendation: Don't waste your money on this product

Plus they shatter when bit into. They were my go-to snack in my purse and car. Not anymore.

Verified Reviewer- - Ritz consumer says quality declined since Mondelez/BlackRock took Nabisco.
- - Crackers had a motor oillike substance; case opened, photos sent, no reply.
I have been eating RITZ crackers for over 65 years. Since Mondelez International and Blackrock Investors took over the brand from Nabisco, the quality has nosedived.
I recently opened a pack that had a substance on them that resembled motor oil on several of the crackers. I called to complain; they opened a case on the incident and asked for a photo as proof. I sent a photo, but they closed the case prematurely and never gave any response or offer of replacement.
I called them back after a couple of months to inform them I no longer trust their bioengineered products and will also never purchase RITZ, CADBURY, OREO, or TRIDENT again.
They market products in over 150 countries now, but they have taken their consumers for fools! Cheaper ingredients and increased retail prices have begun to show up now on their bottom line profits as the word spreads. I will make it a point to avoid purchasing any Mondelez products, and I will also tell my family and friends to steer clear of this out-of-control corporate beast. Look at their stock price (MDLZ).
Maybe they could take some lessons from Sears Roebuck, K-Mart, Circuit City, etc., on thinking they are too big to fail because of a $69 billion dollar market cap.
They should be ashamed of their greed. This is not the American way of yesterday.
- Bioengineered food ingredients and poor taste
Preferred solution: My purpose is to make the American people aware of corporate abuse from companies like Mondelez who think they are too big to fail. Do not buy CRAP, like this has become in recent years.
User's recommendation: Don't buy this garbage. I won't even feed these to my dogs anymore. What was I thinking to bring these trash products into my home?

Verified ReviewerNo response does not help me. It would have taken only a few minutes to answer my question. I will spread word that Ritz crackers not worth our hard earned money.
They didnt have time for an ordinary person asking a ordinary question. I wont bother with them anymore and I will spread the word to my large community.

Verified ReviewerPlain crackers with Peanut Butter Residue
- - Peanut butter residue on cracker edges throughout the box.
- - I was hesitant to eat those crackers.
- - Switch from Keebler Townhouse; Ritz seemed sturdier.
I opened a sleeve of crackers and partway through noticed dried clumps of what I assume is peanut butter on the edges. I thought it was only one sleeve, but it was throughout the box.
Luckily, no one in my house is allergic to peanut butter, but I was still hesitant to eat those affected, questioning the cleanliness of their production and not knowing where they picked up this dried-up residue in the process. Kind of a disappointment since I just switched from Keebler Townhouse due to the crackers falling apart just getting them out of the package.
Ritz seemed sturdier. I was pretty happy with the switch until this quality control mishap.
- Good cracker flavor and sturdiness
- Potential allergens not find in production
Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: Anyone with food allergies inspect carefully before eating.

Verified ReviewerI bought a 13.7 oz box and 3 of the 4 sleeves looked like they had peanut butter smeared on them. Not in the middle of the cracker, but along the inside of the package! I bought this box at Wal-Mart .
- - Plans to return to Wal-Mart for a refund.
- - Box is original Ritz crackers; date 15OCT25AZ210-1 19:36; barcodes 0 440** ***** * and 040500****1970.
I want to take it back to Wal-Mart and get a refund. The box was the 'original' Ritz crackers.
Also, the date on the box was 15OCT25AZ210-1 19:36. The bar code is 0 440** ***** *, with another number next to it: 040500****1970.
- Love them
- Not being inspected
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: You need to have better inspectors!
This is not the Ritz crackers I used to buy. These are awful!
- - Tasting one reveals that something isn't right.
- - The reviewer says the ingredients haven't changed.
- - Terrible taste.
All you have to do is taste one and you will know in an instant something isn't right. you can tell the customers that the ingredients haven't changed butDon't buy just taste one and you'll know. Terrible taste.

- - Buttery flavor is gone; crackers have no taste.
- - They’re terrible and not worth the money.
- - The reviewer mentions safety concerns about poisoning.
That great buttery flavor is gone. Now the crackers have absolutely no flavor at all!
They are terrible. Don't waste your money; in fact, whatever they do or don't do to them now is probably poisoning us!
If you like the taste of cardboard, go for it! My favorite cracker has gone south.
- Flavorless
Preferred solution: The old crackers back. The ones that used to taste good.
User's recommendation: Don’t buy them!

Verified ReviewerThe quality of Ritz crackers is quite dismal ; they were excellent before Mondelez owned the brand.
- - The crackers are thinner and lower quality than before.
- - There are clumps of a light brown paste in the crackers.
It had been a number of years between my most recent purchase of Ritz crackers and the preceeding purchase. What a disappointment it was to find that the current version is a thin, insubstantial, low quality piece of garbage.
There were clumps of a light brown pasty substance distributed throughout every sleeve of these disgusting crumbly wafers that prompted me to toss them into the trash.
The corporate %#&holes responsible for this decline in quality (but not price of course) should spend years in prison to reflect on the folly of their greed. I hope that our nation of pathetic sheep will soon awaken and rise against the shameless greedy ones that are so ubiquitous today.
- Are not even close to what they once were
User's recommendation: Stop buying this crap ; you are enabling and encouraging the greedy ones!
