Ritz Crackers were broken and package inside was torn.
Ritz Crackers were broken and package inside was torn.
I opened a box of Ritz Crackers and the crackers inside were mostly crushed and one package was torn on the side (see photos). What was even more strange, was the box was in perfect condition...so this occurred prior to packaging. It has a use by date of June 25, 2017....

I have purchased your Ritz Crackers for years as it is one of my favorite. Lately they are crumbling at touch. I just purchased one pound box at Costco as I didn't want to run out, however every package crumbles. This is a favorite snack with a small slice of cheese...

Not only are the stacks getting shorter, the diameter of the crackers are shrinking also. They do it because they can! Also, long ago, there weren't that many people trained in maximizing/minimizing materials and such. Now, I actually saw a 4th grade math problem that...

I agree the taste is not as good as it once was, they do crumble at a touch, but why is the 4 rolls shrinking to 3 rolls but the price is still the same?!! Company's should get back to caring about the quality of their products and not just the profits!!

I bought a whole box from Costco and the only thing they are good for is bread crumbs. They are so thin they break before you get a chance to eat them and don't even think of spreading peanut butter on them anymore. Too bad, they were my favorite. I won't be buying these anymore.

I am not sure what happened to your Ritz cracker recipe but having been a consumer for at least 30 years, we will no longer purchase them. They have lost their unique buttery flavor, golden brown color, and flakiness. They are just like any other cheap brand now. SAD.

Long time Ritz customer...loyal.Last 4 boxes, from both Publix and WalMart were NOT useable. Crumble even while handling individual sleeves. Saved 3 boxes ( after feeding to the birds). Expensive bird-food. Tried a box of "8 FRESH STACKS". (Publix). Perfect!! Unless I...

The current production of original Ritz crackers are so blown up with air???they crumble at the slightest pressure. One can no longer spread peanut butter, cheese or any type of spread without the crackers crumbling in your hand. Many times crackers will crumble when...

offconsumerpissed LOL!!!!! A cheap cracker broke your heart?!?? LOLL!!!!!

If you are scrimping on ingredients to make a profit then you may be, so to speak, "cutting off your nose to spite your face". As a consumer I want to buy food made in the USA. I am suspicious as to whether Ritz Crackers are made in the US or if they are made in...

It's for sure they are NOT following the same recipe as when they were made here, I have stuck with them long enough, I really hate to see an old loved American brand get sold to foreigners and then have the brand destroyed for profits sake. After the experience of this box of Ritz today I can say enough is enough. I will not be purchasing Ritz anymore. Mondelez..... YOU KILLED RITZ CRACKERS...
