I called Nabisco support and they swear that nothing has changed with the Ritz Crackers, but they are DEFINITELY different than they used to be. They are now a whitish/yellowish color instead of the golden color that they used to be.

More than half of them are already broken or crumbling even before you open the box, and when you try to pick them up they crumble completely. Gone are the days that you could spread peanut butter on them. They fall apart instantly. You'd have a better chance of hitting the Mega jackpot.

I've been hanging on for months buying these inferior, crumbling crackers but I am not wasting any more money on them.

Maybe they changed where the crackers are made, maybe the ingredients or cooking time has changed, or maybe they have substituted some of the original ingredients for healthier counterparts to please the hippies and millennials. Something has DEFINITELY changed, whether they want to admit it or not.

What's not going to change is my decision to stop buying them.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $6.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Ritz Crackers Cons: Crumbling tasteless ritz crackers in box, Crackers crumbling, Texture taste and it is thin and crumbles, Crumbles.

The company is now Mexican owned, Mendalez or something similar. They actually had "made in Mexico" on the boxes, I sent them a notice that I wouldnt buy them any more for that reason and then I saw that they removed the Made in Mexico from the box.

Im sure they are importing them and lying that they are still mad ein NJ.

They are awful. I wont buy them again

Old ingredients list compared to new... After comparing the ingredient list from the Ritz Cracker website, I found some differences.

They used to use Partially Hydrogenated Cottonseed Oil and have now replaced that with Canola & Palm Oil.

So yes, as another reviewer wrote... They have removed the trans-fats and now their product is complete garbage.

Yes! It's no longer a buttery taste.

Up until a few months ago, my dog would get 1 Ritz cracker as a treat after being walked. She's eaten them most of her life. Now she won't even take them from me. Just pushes it back with her nose.

Something has definitely changed if even my dog can tell there is something wrong with them.

The Nabisco people are either in denial or in the dark. Maybe they should try cracking open a few boxes to actually experience it for themselves and stop telling customers that call in that nothing has changed.

They seem oily as well. Not like the good old oily from the fry, but a slick chemical silicone kind of slippery. I don't like them anymore.
